Institute recently implementing STG Project. The objectives of this project is that the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, with a view to streamline treatment at the Primary Health Care Services developed a Standard Treatment Guidelines for the use of the medical officers working in the Primary Level Health Care Facilities, i.e. in Rural Hospitals, Block Primary Health Centres and Primary Health Centres. Faculty members from the Medical Colleges and doctors from the Primary and Secondary level hospitals worked on ten different disciplines including psychiatry and medico legal aspect.
