Vision: IHFW is to be seen as an Apex Technical Institute of the State of West Bengal, mainly funded by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, for promotion Health &Family Welfare Programmes in the State through education, training, research, evaluation, consultancy and specialised Health Care Services as well as functioning of the seat of Training Centre of the Eastern and North Eastern Regional States of the Country in public health & family welfare management.
